About Simon

I am an inspirational and experienced Headteacher and School Improvement Lead and Teacher who has led in both MAT and LA schools, with a highly successful record of developing leaders, building exceptional inclusive cultures and school improvement through values led leadership. 

 

I am a qualified and experienced designated safeguarding lead, hold NPQH and am currently working towards a CMI Level 7 Certificate in Leadership Coaching and Mentoring.

History Teacher

A passionate Historian and history teacher, I have worked with the Historical Association for many years as a volunteer, committee chair and Trustee, and became an honorary fellow in 2015. I am also a Trustee of the Coastal Forces Heritage Trust, currently supporting the development of their education strategy. 

Harrison Consultancy

I created Harrison Consultancy in 2026 having seen the growing demand for leadership support across the education sector, driven by increasing workload pressures, wellbeing concerns, recruitment challenges and the need for independent professional investigation services. 

My first-hand experience of school leadership, Headteacher background and commitment to values-led leadership enables me to offer practical, credible and highly personalised support that is tailored to the specific challenges faced by education professionals.
