Safeguarding Statement

Harrison Consultancy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and the welfare of the child is paramount. All work is undertaken in accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) 2026, Working Together to Safeguard Children, the Children Act 1989 and 2004, and relevant school safeguarding policies. An Enhanced DBS certificate is maintained, and any safeguarding concerns will be reported immediately in line with the host school’s procedures.

Safeguarding Experience

I have more than a decade of leadership experience in safeguarding and hold qualification as a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL). As Deputy Headteacher I served as Lead DSL and retained this accrreditation through regular, updated training during my time as a Headteacher. Child safeguarding is the paramount responsibility for all school staff and lies at the heart of Harrison Consultancy's practice. I hold an Enhanced DBS certificate and consistently undertake safeguarding training to ensure compliance and best practice.
